Congratulations to SPAIN for winning the World Cup

We were lucky enough to have the Spain Women's National team, now Champions of the FIFA Women's World Cup, start their campaign at our grounds. Arriving early, possibly to acclimatise to NZ weather the Spain team trained at McLennan Park in July before departing to Palmerston North and their official training camp location.

While here they played Vietnam on our stadium pitch and some of our PCFC players were lucky enough to support them as ball girls.
